  1. Your structure is really clear and let me know geographical locations and hobbies can be the labels of the information pool. Now I get it, thanks! I totally agree with your view that social media analytics is very complex, and I really believe that the power of social media analysis cannot be neglected. As you wrote in your blog “researchers will extract, analyze, summarize, and visualize various language symbols that people post on social media”. I agree this is one of the most important steps in social media analysis. Through analysis language, we can get lots of useful information which can help us get what we want faster. By the way, I think the collection and cleaning of data is also important. This process can improve our working efficiency.

    1. Thank you very much for reading my blog carefully, and I can’t agree with you more that “collection and cleaning of data are also important”. In fact, data collection and cleaning are the foundation of social media analysis. If there is not enough data or too much meaningless information left after cleaning the data, the results of social media analysis will not be good.

  2. It is nice to know geographical locations and hobbies can be a part of our information pool. You explained it from the direct meaning level, it is very concise and clear, but at the same time I think you should add some specific analysis methods and the meaning of doing Social Media Analytics for further explanation. Thank you.
